Windows 7 Keyboard Shortcuts

Windows 7 has several useful new keyboard shortcuts. The mini list of the shortcuts is listed here     


Windows Logo + +(plus key) ->Zoom in, where appropriate 

Windows Logo + - (minus key) ->Zoom out, where appropriate     

Windows Logo + Up ->Maximise the current window  

Windows Logo + Down ->Minimise the current window

Windows Logo + Left ->Snap to the left hand side of the screen

Windows Logo + Right ->Snap to the right hand side of the screen

Windows Logo + Home ->Minimise/ restore everything except the current window

Shift + Click on icon ->Open a new instance

Middle click on icon ->Open a new instance

Ctrl + Shift + Click on icon ->Open a new instance with Admin privileges


Shift + Right-click on icon ->Show window menu (Restore / Minimize / Move / etc) 
Note: Normally you can just right-click on the window thumbnail to get this menu

Shift + Right-click on grouped icon ->Menu with Restore All / Minimize All / Close All, etc.

Ctrl + Click on grouped icon ->Cycle between the windows (or tabs) in the group

Windows Logo + T -> Focus and scroll through items of  taskbar

Windows Logo + P -> Open the projection menu (used for projection purpose mainly in laptops)

Windows Logo + U -> Open the Ease of Access Center

Windows Logo + Tab -> Cycle through programs on the taskbar by using Aero Flip 3-D

Windows Logo + Tab + Ctrl -> Use the arrow keys to cycle through programs on the taskbar by using Aero  Flip 3-D

Ctrl + Shift + Esc -> Open Task Manager

Windows Logo + B -> Move focus to system tray

Windows Logo + G -> Bring Gadgets to fore

Ctrl + Shift + N -> Create New Folder

Guest posts are entertained in the Tip N Tweaks blog. Read the below requirements for submitting a guest post in the blog.


Topics on guest posts : Any Tech related Unique topic are entertained here, it might be some tips on windows 7, general internet tips or SEO tips or some tech news etc... and the topic might contain links in it explaining the stuffs the links being dofollow or nofollow is depending on the stuff and link.
